Our largest volunteer program, English in action is always in need of new volunteers all year long. Help international visitors and their families improve their English conversation and understanding of American life. Volunteers enjoy the fulfillment of tutoring and the unique opportunity to know someone from another culture. Volunteers meet their partners one hour per week or as often as they wish.

Teach teens financial literacy in high school classrooms; attend the annual Young Women & Money Conference providing tools and resources to manage money and be financially savvy; participate in free Money Workshops available during the year with topics on credit card, credit scores, budgeting, salary negotiation, financial terms 101 and more

Volunteers will help plan community service and nation-wide–wide programs including the popular international “Week Without Violence” and “Stand Against Racism”, Campaigns, also, holi-day projects and the World YWCA Day Break-fast. Change the lives of elementary and middle school girls through and innovative and exciting mentoring program. TechGRYLS matches female students with under-served girls in Nevada to foster positive relationships through the medium of science and technology. Co-instructors teach the girls how to animate, create web pages, mix music and much more!
youth mentor program (ymp)
Do you want to be a mentor and make a difference? Mentor a middle school stu-dent ! For only three hours a week a high school pre-graduate students can mentor a 6th, 7th, or 8th grader from Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin and surrounding communities. The Youth Mentor Program focuses on social and academic development. The program is so flexible you can meet your mentee anywhere and anytime during the week.
